Always privately owned, very little mileage before this voyage. Never chartered boat, taken out of the water every winter and kept in a cradle
hull. Sandblasted down, 2 layers of quality primer and 7 layers of high-end of Copper Coat applied in 2023 July so you don’t need to think about antifouling the next 10 years!

We bought Southern Sun in 2021 in French Polynesia because we wanted to explore the world but next to our busy life back in UK was not always possible. Suddenly COVID came and we thought time is now to make that decision. That turned out to be a great idea because we had freedom under lockdown. Prepared her for the voyage and sailed the Pacific islands from Tahiti to Fiji.

• NICE FEATURE – Furling system can take 2 genoas simultaneously and with 2 poles sailing downwind becomes smooth, easy to reef and safe because boom is not in play. Used to cross the Atlantic or Pacific
