I've recently moved to a linear drive and have an ACU-100 and EV-100 Wheel Drive for sale.

Very timely! May I ask the age of the EV-100?
 
No exactly sure, 5+ years. I did service it a year ago and replaced the belt (£50+ genuine part) and the bushes. Worked very nicely.

Sorry if this is a basic question but what else is required to run this? Some sort of control head?

Yep you will need the P70 control display and EV1 Sensor alongside this and the cabling to connect it all together.
