She is an easy and satisfying yacht to sail. She revels in her ability to keep powering on in heavy seas but equally sails surprisingly well in light winds.

The Moody 42 Centre Cockpit is a high quality, blue-water cruiser. The center cockpit is well-protected with a low profile, so you don’t feel too high and remote from the water. The cockpit seats are 2.1m long, and the wheel reaches to the seat edge for easy control. With in-mast furling and all lines leading back to the cockpit, you do not need to leave the cockpit to reef.

With larger lazarette lockers it has ample deck storage.

Down below, the center-cockpit layout provides a very roomy owners cabin featuring a center line double bed. The fore peak cabin has a 1.9m vee berth both with en-suites.

The starboard walkway between the cabins has a super safe galley having only 480mm between each bench on both sides, so you can brace yourself no matter what the boats angle of heel is.

On the portside there is a passage berth with storage below and behind, currently used as a workshop.

The engine room has full access from three sides, so you can access the 50hp Volvo MD22 engine and Fisher Panda 5000i Neo generator.

Over the last 5 years this Moody has undergone significant investment, which has enhanced her safety and comfort.
