Hi there Moody Owners,
I have the opportunity to purchase a Halberdier. I found that only 29 were built and, (correct me if I'm wrong) they have good, solid construction. It seems to have been fairly well maintained, but no serious upgrades.
There is a (approx) 20cm soft spot on the deck, close to where it joins the cabin roof.
Does anyone have knowledge of whether this is highly fixable, or should I do a runner? From inside, you can see where the water has been running down the wall, but it's not particularly water damaged.
I feel, that for it's age it's holding up well.
One more thing please. Can some please explain how the external ballast is attached to the long keel.
