Beautiful English sailing yacht from 1976
The ship is easy to sail for two people, but is spacious enough for comfortable holidays for four people. When all bunks are used, there are 6 sleeping places available.
The kitchen has a two-burner gas stove with oven and a sink with cold running water. Under one of the benches there is a very strong cool box that can even freeze, and there is plenty of storage space under the other benches and behind the backrests. The toilet is located at the front of the ship, again with a sink with cold running water.
The rigging consists of a conventional mainsail with battens and a furling jib (2023 In-Sails with new cover). In addition, a Spinaker (in bag) and Bolle Jan (in trunk) with accessories such as the boom and extra sheets are on board. There is also a reserve Genoa.
An easy-to-read glow new chart plotter is provided outside for easy navigation. It is a Raymarine Axiom 9 from September 2019 with a 9-inch touchscreen. There is also a marine radio (Icom M605E) and a radio (Fusion radio RA70N).
To have your hands free while sailing, there is an autopilot (Raymarine EV1 + ACU + P70, as well as a Smart controller (remote)).
For the winter there is a cover tent that completely spans the cabin and cockpit.
In recent years the following improvements have been made to the Moody:
Around 2010 the ship was fitted with a new mast, stays and sails by Jachtwerf Noordschans.
The interior was refreshed in 2012; reupholstered, new headliner, drinking water pump and pipes replaced (only cold running water available).
New Raymarine I70S x 2 + wind/depth/speed + ITC-5), were installed in 2019. New engine (Craftman CM2.16) with accessories such as castor, wet exhaust system, 65 liter diesel tank, 3-blade propeller, propeller shaft and water lubricated Volvoseal rear bearing installed in August 2015 by Drinkwaard Motoren.
A galvanic isolator was installed in November 2021; In that year, an Eberspaecher heater was also installed in 2020. The toilet and hoses were replaced in 2020.
The gas hoses were also replaced in 2020. The traveler is equipped with blocks.
A WiFi booster has been installed (EZ-Wifi), so that the WiFi signal from the port can also be amplified below deck, too many to mention. But we have a complete log of everything that has been done in recent years.
The underwater hull will be fitted with new antifouling in 2022; hull above the waterline was then completely polished.
In 2019 we went to Ramsgate, in 2023 Zeeland, Vlieland, IJsselmeer and North Sea.
In short, a beautiful ship that guarantees years of sailing pleasure!
Asking 23000 euro.
