Moody 34 Moody 34 1984 purchase

Hi everyone,

Newbie here - in fact first time ever posting on a forum like this.

Time to take the plunge and jump into Moody ownership. Went to see the boat last weekend and was greeted very warmly by the current owners. The boat is commensurate for it's age, and most things as expected.

I see there are a lot of questions around the keelbolts for the Moodys (being made of mild steel), but would love a second opinion of what people think of the condition of these bolts?

Very much appreciated.

Mark.

Welcome Mark. and well done for a perfectly-executed first post!
The visible nuts and bolts look in reasonable nick, I'd say, most of that rust is the plates beneath the nuts. If you decide to go ahead with this one, hopefully the surveyor you use will be familiar with Moodys and make a correct judgement.

Thank you Dick, appreciate the welcome and the insight.
