Hi Markus,
Your profile says Nei Ut is a Moody 419 whereas you have used the prefix for a Moody 42, they are fairly different boats so it would help to know which model. Your choices are either to have it made locally so the maker can visit the boat to measure and fit, have it made by a sailmaker who has access to another boat with identical deck layout or make it yourself. For the last option you need the capability to bend stainless steel tubes and the use of a sailmakers or industrial sewing machine.
Wild Thyme is a Moody 425, so has the same deck layout as the 419 (and the rest of the series: 41, 419, 422, 425) and we have a cockpit enclosure which was made by Mick of the Burnham loft of Wilkinson sails. Although Mick is now retired and the Burnham loft closed, the Company's main loft at Faversham in Kent is still in business under the very capable management of Cindy. Our enclosure will be going there this winter for new windows.
So Cindy could make an enclosure to fit a M419 but what we have may not be what you want. It does enlarge the living area in rainy weather very effectively, but stows away neatly for sailing. The 2 hoops for it are mounted on tracks on the outboard sides of the cockpit coaming and fold down around the aft curve of the coaming ahead of the main sheet track. The canvas folds up neatly to be stowed in a locker. The forward end of the enclosure zips onto the sprayhood and the side windows can be opened up and rolled up, leaving cockpit access open. It's installation required some cleats and fittings removing from the coaming and the spray hood had to go to the sail loft to have the zip sewn on.
Of course, if Nei Ut is a Moody 42, the concept will need sone adaptation to fit her.
Sorry I'm away from home at present, so don't have access to photos, but I hope I've given you some ideas to think about.
Peter.
