Hello.
Thanks for leting me join your group, ask in advance sorry for my English mistakes.
I am considering to buy a Moody Cavalier 36 from 1970.

Help needed:
1 - How does she manouvre in the marina ? Beeing long keel, does the bowthruster solve the problems or do they remain ? How many HP at least should the Bowthruster have ?
2 - Are there keel problems related ?
3 - The Helm is hydraulic or by cables, and are there reports of problems to look for ?
4- The tanks of diesel or water are usualy replaced after those years ?
5 - Anyone has installed a waste tank for the WC, is it a tricky or a easy job ?
6 - Any other common aspects I should look for when inspecting the boat ?

On looking through the historical records of Moodys built over the years, there were only 7 x Cavalier 36 built, between 1970 and 1972.
I tried to cross reference to the record of boats by type in the membership files, and the Cavalier was not listed as such. There is a possiblility that someone in our membership may have knowledge of this particular model, but I fear it may be a vain hope.

I think the cavalier is equal in structure to other models, like the Halbardier, so any experience from owners of those boats is welcome.

Thanks all for your help, but I lost the boat, someone else bought it first, there was nothing I could have done, since confinement is forbiding travels.
I am looking perhaps a moody 33, we will see if possible.
