Hi Dick,

Thanks for that. In the meantime I've discovered that the threaded portion of the prop shaft has sheared off, so the nut is the least of my problems now! On the hunt for a shaft and nut now.

Hi Ruvane.

An engineering shop could repair the shaft and make a new nut, which could be cheaper than a new part and at least you know it will fit and the shims required etc.
