Just bought my Moody 39 and doing a re-power. Looking to see if anyone has a use of the old Thornycroft T108/D841, serial 5566. My understanding is it's original to the boat (1979), though have a receipt showing a rebuild in 2003. It's very corroded/rusted, and leaking lots of oil. (not sure where from, though the sump is especially rusty).
In theory it's running though I haven't tried running it since boat is out of the water. Apparently it was overheating the last time it ran over a year ago. The yard replaced thermostat, though not sure if that fixed the issue or if some other problem.
Located in Malahide, Ireland.
