Classic Moody Carbineer 44 ketch Altair is available. Built to Lloyd's Yacht Classification 100A1 in 1970. Designed by Laurent Giles and custom built to the old standards of commercial boatbuilding in Moody's Southampton yard.
Only 2 families have owned her in all the years.
GRP hull super solid, no blisters, with new copper coat in 2025, 125 hp Perkins MC130 with clean oil analysis in 2025, Whitlock mechanical steering and seacocks tuned up in 2025 and 2026, respectively.
Bright comfortable deck salon, solid mahagony interior with teak brightwork above decks.
Sleeps 7 in three staterooms, two electric macerator heads.
24v Mastervolt MassCombi inverter/charger, 24v Victron solar, and plumbed and wired for genset as well.
Excellent tankage, water 880 liters and 1,000 liters of diesel.
2 Isotherm refrigerators.
Lofrans Falkon windlass, 10mm chain x 40m, Rocna anchor.
Zodiac with Mercury 3.5 HP fourstroke outboard.
