I hate to be a kill joy but is everything in Australia really that expensive? I have been keeping any eye on the 422/425 "advertised" as opposed to the sold prices over the last year and have concluded that anything over 100,000 euros will still be in the family at the end of the season. Sorry.

I personally know of a moody 425 which was sold for around 145k EUR two years ago in Europe after extensive refit . Boat was ready for ocean passage making same as ours. And it was sold fast. If you try to make the boat ready for extensive sailing you would put more money than the price you see here.

In addition to that before advertising any boat in Australia you need to pay 5% import duty plus 10% GST on top of that.
