Jacaranda is a 1980 Moody33S, one of the much sought after aft cockpit versions, fully Irish registered with a good cruising/live aboard inventory including a Yanmar 3YM30 diesel engine. She has been peeled, epoxied and Coppercoated in Wales under the supervision of a Lloyds approved surveyor. Jacaranda is currently on a finger pontoon in a marina in the North of Portugal and her cruising areas have included Irish waters, the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, the Rias of Spain, Portuguese coastal waters the Algarve and lots between. (including Biscay, the Douro river and Guadiana river)
Jacaranda has been continually updated including wire rigging (2023), mainsail, furling genoa, sail cover with stakpak, sprayhood, cockpit canopy, Winter cover, Sun cover, dodgers, fenders, electric anchor winch, anchor, chain, updated galley with fridge, new gas cooker/oven, cushions/covers, charts, paper and electronic, pilots, NMEA backbone, plotter, autohelm, VHF, AIS, etc, etc
