Moody 31 MkII VBirth size

Hi, I'm looking at an 80's vintage Moody 31 mk2, and wondering how people find the front VBirth for sleeping 2 adults?

Hi Geoff. It’s a lovely boat in many ways but....in our experience, the vbirth is really too small for 2 adults. It’s fine for 1 adult or 2 younger kids. The aft cabin birth is fine for 2 adults. As kids grow, the saloon seats make good extra berths or excellent passage berths. The starboard one has a trotter box at the bow end which lengthens it by another 30cms. Good luck in your search. Agree with John. We love our M31 Mk1 (same size berths as mk2) but our son uses the v-berth. At 6'2" and 5'10" it's just not comfortable for us adults.
